Terms of Service

These terms are the rules for playing Vaelo (vaelo.win). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under the age of digital consent where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
• One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Player names, clan names and tags must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, or impersonate someone else (including staff). We may change or remove ones that are.

Playing fair

You may not:

• cheat: aimbots, wallhacks, modified game files, scripts or tools that give an unfair advantage, or exploiting bugs on purpose;
• tamper with the game, its servers or other players' connections, or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours;
• manipulate rankings or rewards: win-trading, boosting, using second accounts to farm rating or kills, or deliberately throwing ranked matches;
• harass, threaten or abuse other players, use hate speech or slurs, or post sexual content, spam, or anyone's personal information.

Found a bug or exploit? Tell us on Discord instead of using it.

In-game items

Points, tickets, skins, camos and other items are part of the game, not real money or property. They have no cash value and can't be sold or traded for money. Items and their availability, rarity or appearance may change as the game is developed, and items may be removed if they were obtained through a bug or cheating.

Moderation and bans

We may warn, mute, temporarily ban or permanently ban accounts that break these terms, and reset progress or ranked rating gained unfairly. We decide based on reports, match recordings and the game's fair-play checks. If you think a ban was a mistake, contact us on Discord.

Your content

If you upload anything (such as a custom hitmarker sound), you must have the right to use it, and it must follow these rules. You let us store and play it in the game for you.

The game is in development

Vaelo is provided "as is". It may have bugs, go offline for updates, change, or lose data despite our backups. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost progress or items, or for indirect losses from using the game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms or end the game.

Changes

We may update these terms as the game changes. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and say so in the game. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
